You might have noticed it has been a bit quiet here the last few days due to Fashion Week madness. Especially if you follow my Instagram and Instagram stories, you know that the past week has been crazy busy for me and that I’ve been running around from A to B. But today I’m super happy to finally recall last weeks Berlin Fashion Week for you guys.
What can I say?! Berlin Fashion Week was simply amazing this time. There was so much on the agenda and while I’m sitting here, writing, I am still trying to process everything that happened. Ok, but first things first, for those of you not knowing how all this works … here is a little intro. During Fashion Week there are always many of presentations, events, shows, showrooms that you can fill your calender with, until it bursts. However, I made the experience that presentations/showrooms, events and the exhibitions are my favorite part of the whole scenario. Sure, fashion shows are also a big part of ” Fashion Week” and they are very fun and interesting, but to be perfectly honest with you guys, I’m not a big fan of all the hype around it. So, my first day of Berlin Fashion Week was all about visits to showrooms to see the newest collections of all the designers, a quick business meeting and a visit to the Premium exhibition.
Outfit day #1
When it comes to Fashion Week and streetstyle I always make sure that I go a “bit” over the top. Nothing too crazy, still something that represents my style, but yet something that is a little bit more than the usual that I am wearing. To me personally, the most perfect combo is; feminine chic – paired with casual coolness.
Some of the pieces I wore for my first look on day #1 are constant favorites of mine.
You can never go wrong with a good designer bag, some over-the-knee boots and of course a classic hat. Nothing combines feminine chic better than these 3 essentials, to add a little hint of casual coolness (which I’ve been talking about above) I combined a statement jacket with exaggerated detailing. It simply adds a little edge to the outfit.
