My mornings are always dedicated to working out, whether I post it on social media or not but fact is, – I keep myself going as much as possible! Either I go skating, running, dancing, do yoga or I simply stretch… I always make sure to find something to be active with.
After my workout I am one of those people who can’t really eat a proper meal right away. I feel like my body is still filled with endorphins and adrenalin from working out so that I usually go for something light afterwords. As I am not the biggest fan of protein shakes, I do LOVE me some healthy smoothies though. I’ve tried so many smoothie recipes over time and I’ve been experimenting a lot in the past with all kinds of ingredients and different kind of mixtures/textures… Today I’m sharing my most favorite one!
One of my all time go – to favorite smoothies that I created, is not only the YUMMIEST shit ever, it also is packed with a massive amount of nutrients!!! Vitamin B, C, D, – Magnesium, Calcium, Copper, Kalium, Potassium, Iron, protein, fiber & antioxidants. So go on and get it, get it. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do.
What you’ll need
- 1 ripe banana
- 50 – 100 g frozen mango
- 1/2 grapefruit
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon maca powder
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 100 ml pure coconut milk
put all ingredients in a mixer and stir well. Preferably mix two times, so that you get a very smooth and creamy texture.
Et voilá, all set and ready to enjoy your post workout perfection.
